10/05/09 -- This came from Larry Doss, a long time member of the Spalding community and without whose above and beyond contribution of expertise and time this project would not have been completed on time and within specifications.  Larry is a current Director with the Spalding Community Service District.  The dredgeing is done, the Spalding South Ramp is open.  This in no small part is do to the tireless efforts of many people including those he mentions below but also by many more and many working behind the scenes.  Most of these people would shy away from any public recognition, their motives were for the good of Eagle Lake and the many people who come to enjoy this amazing place.  You know who you are and you have our heart felt thanks.
